Michael Ducker
Chief Development Officer
Michael Ducker is an energy industry executive with deep commercial, entrepreneurial, and technical leadership experience across both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Chief Development Officer at Long Ridge Energy & Power, where he leads the development of new power generation projects and oversees operations at the company’s 485-MW Hannibal Power Plant.
Prior to joining Long Ridge, Michael spent nearly 15 years in senior executive roles at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, a global original equipment manufacturer and leader in power generation technology. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of MHI Hydrogen Infrastructure, where he led the project development of large-scale clean hydrogen infrastructure projects, including closing the world’s first and largest commercial-scale clean hydrogen production and storage hub.
Before Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Michael worked at the U.S. Department of Energy, supporting the funding and evaluation of next-generation energy technologies.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University.
