Jacob Biehl
Jacob joined Long Ridge in January 2021 as Director of Land. He brings with him over 17 years of Land management experience. In his role, he oversees all functions of our Land Department, including strategy, budgeting, acquisitions, and development.
Prior to joining Long Ridge, Jacob was a Senior Landman for Montage Resources for more than 9 years, where he managed various prospect areas in the Utica and Marcellus Shale, allowing the company to drill over 70 gross horizontal wells and many more proved locations. Before that, he was as a contract Landman for 5 years, both in the field and managing projects, for title and acquisitions for various clients within the Appalachian Basin. Jacob is a Registered Professional Landman as certified by the American Association of Professional Landmen.
