The Long Ridge Energy Terminal is positioned to become the leading frac sand transloading facility in the Appalachian Basin.  The terminal is located in the heart of the Marcellus and Utica shale formations with best in class frac sand transloading infrastructure, including:

  • Two barge docks on the Ohio River with docking capacity of up to 48 barges
  • 12 mile short-line railroad into the terminal is owned by Long Ridge and provides access to Norfolk Southern
  • Direct truck access to Ohio Route 7
  • Track-hopper facility for rapid unloading of rail cars
  • State of the art conveyer belt system. Facilitates movement from barge dock and rail cars to silos situated throughout the terminal
  • 21 silos with 100,000 tons of frac sand storage capacity. Up to 14 truck loading bays
  • Multiple warehouses with 45,000 tons of storage capacity
